Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · Dated November 6, 2026
This policy explains how FREEDM Inc. (“FREEDM”, “we” or “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use Trade FREEDM at tradefreedm.com, including the site, the app, live sessions and our Telegram channels. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the other privacy laws that apply to us.
The short version (the full policy below is what counts)
- We collect what we need to run your membership: your email and name, your membership details from Whop, and what you do and post on Trade FREEDM.
- We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.
- Live sessions are recorded. If you speak or turn on your camera, you may appear in the replay.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing support@tradefreedm.com.
1. Who’s responsible
FREEDM Inc., 1220-77 Bloor St W, Toronto, Ontario M5S 1M2, Canada, is responsible for the personal information it controls. Our Privacy Officer oversees how we handle it. You can reach them at support@tradefreedm.com or +1 647-254-0818.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your email address, your name and, if you add one, a profile photo.
- What you post: messages in live chats and community spaces, and anything else you share on Trade FREEDM.
- Live sessions: if you’re brought up to speak, or you turn on your microphone or camera, your voice, video and name.
- Messages you send us, such as support emails.
- If you request an affiliate link: what you tell us in your request, such as where you’ll promote Trade FREEDM.
Information from your use of Trade FREEDM
- Sign-in and device information: your IP address, browser and device type, and when you sign in.
- Your agreement record: which versions of our Terms of Service and Risk Disclaimer you accepted, when, and the IP address and browser you used.
- Activity: lessons you complete, chart drawings you save, and your settings and notification choices.
- Referrals: if you arrive through a member’s referral link, which link brought you.
Information from other services
- Whop. When you pay, Whop handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. Whop sends us your email, your name if you give it, your Whop account ID, the plan you bought, payment amounts and dates, and your membership status. We never receive your full card number.
- Telegram. If you connect Telegram, we receive your Telegram user ID, username and display name.
3. How we use it
- to create and run your account and membership, sign you in, and give you access to what you’ve paid for;
- to handle payments with Whop, and to run our referral and affiliate program, including paying commissions;
- to run live sessions, record replays, and make transcripts and summaries;
- to send you sign-in codes and the reminders and alerts you’ve chosen, on the site, by email or in Telegram;
- to add you to member Telegram channels, and remove you when your membership ends;
- to help you when you contact us;
- to keep Trade FREEDM safe, for example by preventing fraud, account sharing and abuse, and to enforce our Terms of Service;
- to keep a record of what you agreed to;
- to fix problems and improve Trade FREEDM; and
- to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We use automated tools, including AI, to make transcripts and summaries of recordings and to read chart images. We don’t use them to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
We may also email you news and offers about Trade FREEDM. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in each email. Sign-in, billing and security emails aren’t optional while you have an account.
4. Who can see your information
- Other members, educators and the FREEDM team can see your name, your profile photo, and what you post or say in shared spaces, including live chats and replays.
- The FREEDM team can see your account and membership details, so we can run Trade FREEDM and help you.
- If you joined through someone’s referral or affiliate link, they can see that you joined, with your email partly hidden, and the status of their reward.
5. Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us build, host and run Trade FREEDM, such as hosting, databases, file and video storage, email delivery, live video and AI tools. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- Whop, for payments, memberships and referral rewards.
- Telegram, if you connect it.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or when it’s needed to protect someone’s rights, safety or property.
- A buyer or successor, if FREEDM or Trade FREEDM is sold or merged. They’d have to protect your information as this policy describes.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising.
6. Where your information is stored
We and our service providers store and process information in Canada, the United States and other countries. Information stored outside Canada is protected by our contracts with those providers, but it’s also subject to the laws of the country it’s in, and courts, law enforcement and national security authorities there may be able to access it.
7. Cookies
We use three cookies of our own:
- freedm_session keeps you signed in (30 days).
- freedm_ref remembers which referral link brought you, so the right member gets the reward (30 days).
- freedm_vid is a random ID that lets us count visits to referral links (1 year).
We don’t use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Some features come from other companies, such as the Whop checkout, embedded charts and Telegram, and they may set their own cookies under their own policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but you need the session cookie to stay signed in.
8. How long we keep it
- Account and activity information: while you have an account. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your information within 30 days, except for the records below.
- Payment, membership, referral and agreement records: for as long as tax, accounting and other laws require, or as needed to settle disputes, usually up to 6 years.
- Recordings and replays: for as long as we offer the replay. If you appear in one and want to be removed, tell us. We’ll do what we reasonably can, such as cutting or blurring the part with you, or explain why we can’t.
- Sign-in and security records: up to 12 months.
- Messages you send us: as long as we need them to help you, up to 2 years.
9. How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, sign-in codes that expire quickly and are stored only in scrambled form, and access limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we’ll tell you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as the law requires.
10. Your choices and rights
- See your information: ask us for a copy.
- Correct it: change your name and photo in your account, or ask us to fix anything else.
- Delete it: ask us to delete your account. Cancel your membership in Whop first, so you aren’t charged again.
- Withdraw consent: disconnect Telegram, change your notification settings, unsubscribe from marketing emails, or close your account. Some information is needed to provide your membership, so if you withdraw consent for it, we may not be able to keep providing it.
- Complain: contact our Privacy Officer first. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Email requests to support@tradefreedm.com. We’ll reply within 30 days, and we may need to confirm your identity first.
11. If you live in the UK or the EU
UK and EU data protection law gives you the right to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to get a copy in a portable format. We use your information because we need it to provide your membership, for our legitimate interest in running and protecting Trade FREEDM, to meet legal obligations, and with your consent where we ask for it, such as for marketing emails. When your information moves outside the UK or the EU, we rely on the safeguards the law allows, such as adequacy decisions and standard contract clauses. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
12. If you live in the United States
Some US states give residents rights over their personal information, such as the right to know, correct or delete it. You can use the rights in section 10 wherever you live. We don’t sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
13. Children
Trade FREEDM is only for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Each version has a number and a date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll email you before they take effect.
